Long time exponent of XP and author / contributor for a couple of books. Home page: http://www.saorsa.com/ Did I write that? -- DaveAstels No I didn't! Aha! Becasue I wrote this one: DavidAstels. Anyway both are me... and I like this one better actually. Stuff below is from the other me that now just forwards here. OK, so I'm not a Londoner, or a Brit (at least not for a couple generations), I am a member of the Commonwealth, though (being a second generation Canadian). Despite the rather tenuous connection, I like hanging out here on occasion anyway. BTW, I would not object to spending time in London if anyone's looking for some TDD training or coaching? From DavidAstels David Astels (who prefers to be called Dave) is the Master Software Craftsman (if you're a geek) and CEO (if you're a banker of lawyer) of Saorsa Development, Inc. (http://www.saorsa.com) Dave is a coauthor of "A Practical Guide to eXtreme Programming" published by Prentice Hall, editor (and primary author so far) of the Test-driven Development edition of The Coad Letter (http://www.thecoadletter.com). Dave's also working on another book, this one focusing on TDD for Java programmers. Belated update (Feb 18, 2003): The book is called "Test-driven Development: A Practical Guide", will weigh in at just over 550 pages, and is pre-orderable at Amazon now. Dave was at XP2001 purely as an attendee. At Xp2002 he gave a tutorial (XP41) and presented a paper on "Refactoring with UML". XP2003? Stay tuned... there are plans afoot
