--RefactoringNoses
- AdewaleOshineye - who (barring unforseen events) will be demoing an optimised version of the SameTool mentioned on the RefactoringNoses page. Currently it takes 51 minutes to identify the 27 duplicated fragments greater than 100 lines in the million or so lines of code in the Java standard library using -Xmx96M. More memory gives improvements of several orders of magnitude improvement: -Xmx512M takes 2 minutes and 19 seconds. Also demoing an implementation of Bryce's idea for finding wiki neighbours.?
- IvanM - JavaCondenser took 369 seconds (on a 600MHz/512Mb PC) to find out that (for JDK1.4.1) out of 33142 methods, 4847 are duplicated. (Note - this needed a couple of changes to JavaCondenser to get it to work - see version 1.06 on http://condenser.sf.net)
--XtcEventIdeas
- RachelD who hopes to sort out any issues relating to XpDay2 expenses. Also to talk about future XtcEventIdeas, particularly the proposal of a CrC workshop that JosephPelrine has offered to run.
--Maven
- TomAyerst, with the same resolution as Graham. Particularly wants to talk to anyone (JoeW ?) who has much to say about Maven. I think JamesStrachan is the main person to ask - RachelD (I'm ashamed to say I didn't know James came along to XTC - TomA)
Apologies
- PaulS was going to bring along spare XpDay2 programmes, if anyone wasn't able to get one on the day. Interested to talk about XtcEventIdeas, and need to do some ]XpDay2] expenses. However got snowed in by Connex trains, so won't make it
