OliBye is interested in trying SmallTalk, IvanMoore is always going on about it. I have a laptop with Squeak and Dolphin on it. Why not try porting the lens to SmallTalk I feel that learning a new language would be a good thing to do at XtC.

I don't wish to be facetious, but "where's the User Story for it?" and "How are you going to test that?" apply to deciding to learn a new language. What happened? Tim and PaulS tried to complete the merge but didn't quite complete it. There was a gap in the two engineering tasks to be merged - typical of software specification!

We decided the best approach was to fix the test first, then write the missing engineering task. I guess we should version our code so far ...
