That's a bit disappointing - I was expecting some chat about XP Coaching, rather than a page full of ads. Perhaps we should create an XpCoachingServices? page? It might be easier to create a page entitled XpCoachingDiscussion? for people to discuss issues in/with XpCoaching.
I recently ran a couple of one day XP workshops with another ThoughtWorker, and we decided to take an agile approach to the presentation itself. We did the simplest thing that we thought would work (some notes on a few index cards), and paired on the presentation - one of us did the talking, the other looked at the dynamic in the room and where necessary guided the speaker in order to keep everyone engaged (ie. the non-speaker was doing the strategic stuff).
It meant we were able to change the presentation according to what we thought would give the "customer" the best value at each stage, which would have been impossible (or at least very difficult) with PowerPoint? slides or other BUFD tools. -- DanNorth
According to what you thought would give the customer best value? Why didn't you ask them to write "stories" (even just headings on a flipchart), with priorities, reflecting what they thougt would give them best value?
