XPCollaborators

A list of people interested in collaborating with others to help publicize or promote XP. Although some form of benefit for one's efforts is always appreciated, payment is not the motivation for the people listed here.

  • BillStott I'm happy to help with events at any level; presenting, reviewing slides, making tea, admin tasks, whatever - just contact me. I'm also willing to review manuscripts. If you've got a good idea for an article (or even a book) but don't fancy writing yourself, get in touch.

Here's a radical thought: What about setting-up a group of people able to provide a sales-pitch to an organisation thinking about adopting XP? I mean, companies like Rational are able to field a whole team to sell into an organisation so why don't we (XtC) setup a group of volunteers to do the same? Just because we have a better mouse-trap doesn't mean the world will beat a path to our door. Anyone fancy being a sales-person for a day, or have any ideas about selling XP, contact BillStott.

It's nice top hear such enthusiasm from you Bill, XTC needs unpaid volunteers to organise events. As a newbie I'm not sure if you are aware that eXtreme Tuesday Club is set up as a non-profit organisation, we have a bank account with four signatories DuncanPierce, PaulSimmons, RachelDavies and SteveFreeman but by the agreement we have signed with the bank as I understand it we are not allowed to make any money as individuals representing XTC. We have about £4k that we can use for future XTC events, please see XtcEventIdeas. I have set up a yahoo group to discuss xp and agile event ideas [email protected] --RachelDavies
