Q: So what is this Wiki.WikiWiki thing exactly?

A: A set of pages of information that are open and free for anyone to edit as they wish. They are stored in a database and managed using some PERL CGI scripts. The system creates cross-reference hyperlinks between pages automagically.

For a tutorial on using Wiki visit Wiki.TipsForBeginners and pay particular attention to Wiki.TextFormattingRules, however note that we use a customised XPD-WikiScript that has some helpful enhancements:

• XPD-WikiImprovedHyperlinks support (allows numbers and better mixed case)
• XPD-WikiTabs use of the ~ character for easier entry
• XPD-WikiAliasSupport
• After saving some text we automatically present the web page back for immediate viewing. While helpful, this does cause the refresh function of your browser to demand a repost. We suggest you press cancel and use the provided a Refresh button in the web page.
