To run the tests for VajCVS? you will need a CVS PServer running on your local machine. I used http://www.cvsnt.org/. The tests no longer check the repository behind the scenes, it looks at the cvs return codes.
For the ToolEnv? to connect to the workspace: you need ide\project_resources\IBM IDE Utility local implementation in the extra directories path.
You need the following system properties.
- vajcvs.username= You have to set this up
- vajcvs.repository=C:\win32app\cvs\Repository
- vajcvs.hostname=127.0.0.1
- vajcvs.password= You have to set this up see
- cvsClientLog=system is good for seeing the conversations with the pserver
If you're testing the tool using the menus
- export .class files and source to ide\tools\com-xpdeveloper-vajcvs
- Options->Coding->Debugging add ide\tools\com-xpdeveloper-vajcvs to the source path
- Options->Resources add de\project_resources\Netbeans CVS\ to the classpath. (adding the project directory has the effect of putting that project in the classpath.³host³³date³April 9, 2001³VajCvsTestin
