"Tracer Bullets" Workshop

Leaders PaulSimmons and TomAyerst, with acknowledgement to Andrew Hunt & David Thomas - The PragmaticProgrammers?.

We will investigate, in a non-software environment, the practical application of this principle. The workshop will be structured around a number of activities in the style of the "Great Egg Race" with simple rules, interspersed with reflection and a small presentation. During the workshop we will discuss the principle of tracer bullets and through a process of reflection we will draw conclusions relating this to the process of software development.

What will you learn?

You will get experience of using an incremental approach Learn a practical way out of 'Analysis Paralysis'

Tracer bullets assist a team in following an evolutionary path towards a solution. The principle provides a metric that may be used to measure progress and an indicator as to the next step. Tracer bullets is an exploratory workshop, run along the lines of the great egg race.

The workshop material has been removed from public viewing.
