A few years ago, Anton Wilder and John Tucker did some work on Parnasian-style tabular documentation. From what I (DafyddRees) remember, here's what they did: * tried out tabular documentation with concrete, algebraic expressions, * produced some case studies for interactive systems, * taught these techniques to mainstream undergrads, and * worked on the semantics of tables and how you could transform them. * They also got a student project done at Digita International. I have to apologise for the webmaster that came up with this ultra-long URL: http://www.swan.ac.uk/compsci/ResearchGroups/TheoryGroups/AlgMethFolder/DSTFolder/TablesForSystems/TablesforSystems.html See also: MathematicalTables, DavidParnas³TabularDocumentationAtSwanse ³³host³³date³June 14, 2002³agent³Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.5; Windows NT 5.0)³TabularDocumentationAtSwansea
