I am a Java developer in a big American bank, who is wracking his brains to find a way to persuade my department to do XP. I think perhaps I shall be forced to embark on a solo voyage initially.

Yep. In London. I managed to collar the Chief Technology Office of the whole Investment Back i.e. the highest techie of the lot, and explained XP to him. He kinda sounded intrigued. Any suggestions as to how to persuade him from a distance?
Find another bank that claims to be doing it, then he'll have to try it to avoid being left behind ;-) Come along the ExtremeTuesdayClub and talk to us about it...
