When you have been working on a project and it has come to an end, it is important to take the time to understand what you learned with the technology, working with other people, and with a particular process. A Project Retrospective helps you learn about what went well, what you would do differently, what puzzles you, as well as actions you would take to continue doing the good things and change the things you don't want to repeat. There is a book by NormKerth?, called Project Retrospectives that should be on the book shelf of every XpDeveloper - this is no shameless plug, its just a lovely book.
