LastTuesdayClub

Taking our inspiration from the XtC we have started a Last Tuesday Club in Dublin, Ireland. This will meet the last Tuesday of every month starting at 6.00pm. It will be held in Hourican's Pub on Lower Leeson Street for the forseeable future.

Similar, to the XtC this is an informal gathering for people to meet/network and share their experience, ask their questions or just bitch about work. Occasionally, we will have specialist nights if somebody has something specific to offer e.g. a tool report, an experience report etc.

June 26th, 2001: We had our first Last Tuesday Club, in Hourican's Pub on Lower Leeson Street. We started at 6.00pm with 9 attendees and there were still 3 hardcore people going at 11.00pm when I left. Very enjoyable night with a huge spectrum of topics covered. Even talk of starting an Open Source Project.
