I'm a hybrid Project Manager/ Technologist/ Analyst. Currently I'm a co-founder of http://www.agile-teams.com - where we are interested in structured collaboration (all industries - not just software). I like XP/Agile (especially as it shouldn't really have a PM, and that's my role), but I also have respect for the old guard (Boehm etc.) What's interesting is that programming has gone from cool (SAGE/wozniak) to non-cool (Dilbert) to cool again (agile/xp, .com leftovers) but that project management has never been cool :)
