JSPWiki v2.0.52

IanSykes

Encountered a Research Machines computer running BASIC circa 1980. There followed experience with a succession of computers and procedural languages. In the work context, the domain was mostly simulation (flight sims, a radar sim and aero engine simulations). From 1995, I dabbled in OO using Borland Pascal and C++.

Got seriously into OO in October 1998, via a full-time MSc in Object Oriented Software Systems from City University (London).

Introduced to XP in 2001, thanks to TimBacon, JeffMartin and various Connextra people. Even attended XTC once!

My XP went rusty in 2002, whilst working amongst a band of non-believers :-( The upside was working for a team leader who thinks in Patterns and believes that Design Is Not Dead.

Returned to the XP fold - at least, we call it XP! - in 2003, saying au revoir to Java and bienvenue to C# and .Net. Now brimming with questions resulting from differences between experiences of XP in 2001 and 2003.

Take a look at: JUnitTips, MockObjects and http://www-106.ibm.com/developerworks/java/library/j-mocktest.html. They all refer to Java but the same principles should apply to C#.--Ade
Now wondering what people are saying (or just thinking) about WebApplicationFrameworks
