You can download the tools from: http://www.okchicken.com/~timm/bigben/bigben107.zip, and read the documentation online at: http://www.okchicken.com/~timm/bigben/index.htmlThe BigBenTools are designed to extend the IBM VisualAge for Java IDE (version 2.0 or 3.0) and provide helpful features that optimise your use of Visual Age. Here are some BigBenToolsStories that could form part of future tools. You can download the tools from: http://www.okchicken.com/~timm/bigben/bigben107.zip, and read the documentation online at: http://www.okchicken.com/~timm/bigben/index.html Note: Will be providing a minor update of the tools in early July to incorporate more Expectation counters and a non VisualAgeJava version of the source for the ExpectationObjects as demonstrated at our MockObjects talk at Xp2000 -- TimM Did this ever happen or have MockObjects/BigBenTools died a mock death? Nothing has changed in 1.07 since Feb 00. --RobertL Apologies - we've been very busy working on real projects and have been refactoring a MockObjects library which is separate from the Tools as well as working on proposals for OT-2001 and XP-2001. Anyway - real soon now - probably a XmasCadeau?... --Tim Any plans for an update that supports VAJ 3.5 and jUnit 3.5 ? Just a quick note to answer my own question about 3.5 integration. I found that if I edited com.xdeveloper.testing.VajTestCase?.start to read : new junit.swingui.TestRunner().start(testNames); and removed the import to utils all compiled OK. -- Jon Does anybody still use BigBen? Anything happening at all here. Any guys need help on supporting this please send mail to [email protected] Yes, still using and liking! Integration helps a bunch when talking others into doing unit tests using JUnit. -- BenG?-- ³rev³38³host³³date³November 15, 2001³agent³Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:0.9.4) Gecko/20011019 Netscape6/6.2³BigBenTool ³³BigBenTools
