When DoingXpByTheBook individual developers pick stories and estimate them as individuals, this practice was dropped at ConneXtra in favour of estimating all stories as a team. This has the disadvantage of longer estimating sessions by we find we are able to swap pairs more effectively over the iteration so improves Collective Ownership. --RachelDavies
The team at ConneXtra has collective ownership our process, as the team has been running for 2+ years we find we don't really need individuals in role of tracker or coach (related to this we have added end of iteration retrospectives). --RachelDavies
