Envelope/Quill ExtremeHour

A technique for introducing XP concepts, originated by PeterMerel?, and described at [Wiki.ExtremeHour]

see LondonExtremeHour for an example.

KeithBraithwaite is interested in organising an ExtremeHour at his place of work. It would be very useful to have one, or maybe two, people with genuine XP experience available to show that he's not just talking out of his hat. Would anyone like to volunteer? Tim did, read about the AmsExtremeHour

How might an ExtremeHour need to change given that LoadFactor? is now deprecated in favour of ProjectVelocity?

Not at all, some of the words are a little different

It would seem hard for an hour or so session to show the project velocity converging in any very convincing manner.

Actually, it's nearer 1.5 hours, but that's software for you... We've found that two iterations are enough to get across the concept that you schedule the next iteration based on your experience in the last. It only has to be accurate enough to help people understand. --SteveFreeman

I see. Thanks.
