AlistairCockburn will be presenting a WritingEffectiveUseCasesCourse with AndyPols on 3rd-4th Oct.

Following this he has offered to give a talk on "Agile Development, Basics and Recent Developments" open to both BCS OOPS and XTC at starts at 4.30pm on Friday 4th October. Venue booked until 7pm.

Synopsis: Recent discussions and inquiries into agile development are showing more of what holds it together. In the first part of the talk, Alistair will review what counts as "agile", and give a few examples of agile methods. In the second part of the talk, he will attempt to show how simplicity of architecture, quality of testing, and short release cycles relate to each other in (good) agile projects.
