Ok, so I start this xpuk mailing list (groups.yahoo.com/group/xpuk), hoping to attract some attention from folks doing XP in the UK. I do this because at the moment, due to OM's work being all in the US, I'm a bigger part of the XP community in Bumfuck, New Jersey than I am in my own country.

Is that anywhere near Newark?

It's too close for comfort - JosephP (who grew up in Princeton, New Jersey)

So SteveFreeman gives me a hard time about how I didn't start here at xp-developer, and so here I am :-)

I want to teach ObjectMentor training courses in and around the UK, so that I don't have to travel eight hours and spend a fortune on plane tickets if I want to work. I'm taking four weeks off travelling to the US, so I can try and develop some ideas useful for the UK.

Thats where I'm at, thats what the xpuk list is hopefully about.

Thoughts are actively sought about how I can be more involved in XP community in the UK.
