Stop Press: Please check the alcove, it might be booked for us. --SteveF

One lively discussion that took place (started by SallyMoss, I think) was: WhatThreeLanguagesWouldYouRecommend.

Hello Alice. The pub has a lot of corners, alcoves, side-rooms and a gallery. You could look out for a beareded guy wearing a very colourful waist-coat, that will be me. People usually arrive any time after 6:30 --KeithB

Please can someone leave out a laptop or a copy of TheBook or something. Also, don't forget to check upstairs in the gallery, which is where we ended up last week. --SteveF

I've printed out the front cover of TheBook - so if you see me wandering around before I see you ... :) --AliceC

www.pigdog.org/auto/laughable_technology/link/1201.html Discuss. Nah, boring rant

He seems a bit confused, the poor deluded fool...! He thinks XP is undisciplined (what about coding standards, refactoring, testing, simplest thing). He thinks it ignores requirement definition (what about the planning game, stories, onsite customer). He thinks XP is jumping straight into code (What about the planning game, stories, talking about stuff!)... I'm stopping now, I've already given his article too much of my time - MattStephenson

JohnClayton - TheOldBankOfEngland phoned Vince's mobile seconds after you were out of sight to say they had your mobile, but the phone number you left for them didn't work. Can you please phone them and also let me know that you've got this message so I can flag it complete in my brain. Also - is there a better way to leave messages for someone? I don't really want to clutter up the main site with personal msgs. Cheers. --AliceC

Leave the message on John's personal page. If he hasn't got one, then create one.
