Meeting Tuesday 12th October 1999

Possible Agenda:

OliBye suggests revisiting the story pile, since some of the priorities with repect to the example have changed.
- Do we want to replace this wiki?
- Is the Metaphor of "learning XP with a Wiki example" working?
LoadFactor so far?
- 2 pairs have done about 4 * 15 minutes actual programming time each night = 2 hours a night
- 8 evenings spent programming = 16 hours worked.
- Hit the wall here, our XPDeveloperStories have no estimates on them, they may be on the cards.

Note we've not been tracking the actual time taken for each engineering task.

Some good ideas above, PaulS only wishes he could attend, but sends his apologies in advance.

Here is a story that came out of this meeting. It replaces all other priority one stories, and since we're only working DownThePub? we decided this should form an iteration.

I want to visit a page on the C2 Wiki and when it displays in my browser it shows me what is different since I last saw it. I want the difference to display in a single page (like MS Word)

I could see different coloured text for additions and strikeout for removals (Can you do strike out , or would another colour do OliBye)

If I have never seen a page before everything would appear as added.

Store a copy of each page as it is loaded. 1.5 hours
If a page differs from the previous version show both versions as cells in a table (side by side OliBye)
Show additions in a cell in the table
- show deletions in a cell in the table
- Difference at the WikiML? level per line.
Render differences as a single HTML page.
