Meeting Tuesday 5th October 1999

Possible Agenda:

What happened Paul fixed a broken VisualAge repository, then merged the two branches from XtC28091999, to come up with xpdeveloper.com/cgi-bin/cvsweb.cgi/xtc/com/xpdeveloper/?only_with_tag=base_1_15 Tim tried to demonstrate the use of DemetersLaw? to show how tests can be protected from code changes in the content of results. After several valiant 15 minute attempts, we concluded that our code base simply didn't need it yet - though probably the principle was good.

Ivan, Paul and Richard discussed runtime vs compiletime exceptions, and their merits in providing a programmatic contract between components. We hope to show you an example here.
