I live in London and have been working in finance for the last 3 years. Discovered the Refactoring book by Fowler a year or so ago which opened my eyes after two years of too much GoF etc.

in need of some fellow XP support.

I have to do some plugging since Eclipse is getting so much action.

If you haven't already then try IntelliJIDEA. JoeWalnes wrote,

It's refactoring browser and other many intelligent features means that I doubt you will dump it...

I'm really enjoying KentBeck 's TestDrivenDevelopment at the moment
