Most of my software development was spent in Java/J2EE/CORBA environments, and I find concepts of XP as a natural progression to the solutions offered by UML / OOAD, design patterns and refactoring (proably explains why Martin Fowler also wrote books in that order).

I am a novice to XP, having just finished the Fowler-Beck book. Currently, Im in between jobs, moving back to London from Cambridge.

Over the last 6 years or so, I have been working in middleware and relational technologies including J2EE, JDBC, WebLogic?, Oracle 8i, CORBA, object/relational caching and mapping.

I graduated from Imperial College, London in 1996. My current research interests are in persistency, transaction and security services of enterprise computing platforms and object-relational caching and mapping technologies.
